David Eck vs Geron Boyer

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Palais des Sports, Abidjan,  taking place on 31/10/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are David Eck (12(4) - 0) who hails from Takoradi, Ghana and Geron Boyer(11 - 4(1) - 5) from Abobo, Ivory Coast.  Eck weighed in at 159 pounds and 15 ounces, while Boyer weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Trystan Basque, and the three ringside judges are Barbabe Pradon, Yves de Laroche and Sid Zola.  

Round 1: 

Eck steps inside.  Boyer pivots to the right of his opponent.  Boyer throws a right hook, but Eck holds on to his opponent.  Eck is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Eck about fouling.  
Boyer attempts to land a right uppercut, but Eck sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Boyer pivots to the right of his opponent.  Eck lands a left hook to the body followed by a left uppercut to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Eck lands a right uppercut.  Eck holds on to his opponent.  Eck leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Eck walks Boyer into a corner.  Eck pivots to the left of his opponent.  Boyer throws a left hook, but Eck clinches his opponent.  Eck pushes his forearm into Boyer's face.  The ref breaks Eck's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Eck lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Eck pivots to the left of his opponent and lands a jab followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Eck is looking to close the distance.  Boyer throws a right uppercut, but Eck ties up his opponent.  Eck is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Eck sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits the target with a sharp jab.  
Eck lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the body.  
Eck advances into close range and lands a left hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.

Boyer is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Eck lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Eck is looking to close the distance and attempts to land a left uppercut, but Boyer sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Eck is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Eck tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Boyer behind the head. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Eck.

Eck drives a sharp right hook into his opponents body.

Eck lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Eck is on target with a cross.  
Eck is looking to close the distance and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He continues the combination and lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Eck hits home with a left hook.  
Boyer tries to keep the action at long range.  Eck lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Eck quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and is on target with a left hook to Boyer's ribs.  
Eck steps inside and forces Boyer to back into a neutral corner.  Eck quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Boyer dabs at his face checking for damage.  
Eck connects with a cross.

Eck tries to land a jab, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Eck closes the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.
