Euan Liston vs James Balderston

Boxing Daily Report from the Wildfighter promoted show at Next Gym, Melbourne,  taking place on 14/10/2027:

Clearly Wildfighter have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Euan Liston (4 - 0) who hails from Sydney, Australia and James Balderston(1 - 3 - 1) from Perth, Australia.  Liston weighed in at 159 pounds and 13 ounces, while Balderston weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Alastair MacIntyre, and the three ringside judges are Kyle Hinshaw, James Tarbert and Euan Kier.  

Round 1: 

Liston advances into close range and digs in a solid left hook to Balderston's body.  
Balderston throws a left hook, but Liston clinches his opponent.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Liston lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Liston is on target with a right uppercut to Balderston's body.  
Liston lands a left uppercut followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Liston digs in a right hook to his opponents body.  
Liston gets on the inside.  Liston hits home with a left hook.  Balderston wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref steps in and separates the two fighters to check for damage.  Its not looking good!  The ref has ruled that the fight cannot continue due to the accidental damage.  As less than 4 rounds have been completed its going to be a no-contest!
