Euan Creach vs Eevert Verkko

Boxing Daily Report from the Bos Firefighters promoted show at MetLife Stadium, Jersey City,  taking place on 20/11/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the WRBO Intercontinental Super Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on HBO, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Euan Creach (27(22) - 0) who hails from Oakland, USA and Eevert Verkko(19 - 7(6) - 3) from Turku, Finland.  Both Creach and Verkko weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rob Bonaccini, and the three ringside judges are Cody Normand, Ian Leaper and Lee Bowell.  

Round 1: 

Verkko lands a right hook to the body followed by a cross to the head.  
Creach steps to the outside.  Creach feints a right hook, and then lands a jab followed by  two straights to his opponents head.  
Creach lands a left hook followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Creach switches the action to the outside and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Creach is looking to keep his distance and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Creach is on target with a sharp jab.  
Verkko steps inside and tries to land a right uppercut, but Creach sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Verkko gets on the inside and walks his opponent onto the ropes.  Creach hits home with a left uppercut.  Creach holds on to his opponent.  Creach is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Creach is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Creach circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Verkko lands a jab.  
Creach lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Verkko throws a right hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a FEROCIOUS cross.  VERKKO IS HURT!  Verkko quickly recovers. 
Verkko advances into close range and tries to land a left hook, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a sharp right hook.  
Verkko sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Verkko throws a right hook, but Creach clinches his opponent.  Creach pushes his forearm into Verkko's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Creach.  
Creach tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross.  
Verkko steps inside.  Creach digs in a firm right hook to Verkko's body.  
Creach lands a left hook.  
Creach steps to the outside and is on target with a firm cross.  
Creach steps away from his opponent.  Verkko finds the target with a jab.  
Verkko advances into close range and walks Creach down, trapping him on the ropes.  Creach lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Creach tries to land a right uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Verkko throws a right hook, but Creach holds on to his opponent.  Creach leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. As they grapple, Verkko pushes his forearm into Creach's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Creach lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head.  
Creach is on target with a cross.  Creach throws an overhand right, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Creach EXPLODES a mean cross into his opponents face.  VERKKO WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Creach tries to land an overhand right, but Verkko dodges the shot and counters with a cross.  
Creach sees his opponent is hurt.  He's looking for the finish!  Creach lands a left uppercut, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the head and a right uppercut to the body.  
Creach lands a hurtful right hook.  DOWN GOES VERKKO!  He beats the count, getting up at 9.  
Creach is on target with a MASSIVE right uppercut.  VERKKO HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  HE FAILS TO BEAT THE COUNT!  The winner by KO is Creach!
