Akira Morishita vs Michael Kathrada

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo,  taking place on 15/10/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Akira Morishita (5 - 0) who hails from Chiba, Japan and Michael Kathrada(13 - 11 - 2) from Port Elizabeth, South Africa.  Morishita weighed in at 160 pounds, while Kathrada weighed in at 159 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Keiichi Iida, and the three ringside judges are Fumio Nakazawa, Hideki Ishibashi and Yasushi Uchida.
