John Swapp vs Fraser Lannon

Boxing Daily Report from the Logan Cop promoted show at Chris Dunnett Gym, Liverpool,  taking place on 25/10/2027:

Clearly Logan Cop have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Central England Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are John Swapp (8 - 11(1) - 7) who hails from Liverpool, UK and Fraser Lannon(6 - 11 - 3) from Nottingham, UK.  Swapp weighed in at 153 pounds And 15 ounces, while Lannon weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sammy Dunkerson, and the three ringside judges are Dai Tierney, Henry Florian and Colin Bowen.  

Round 1: 

Swapp is looking to keep his distance.  Lannon lands a cross.  
Swapp lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Lannon is looking to close the distance and attempts to land a left hook, but Swapp slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Lannon gets on the inside and walks Swapp into the corner.  Lannon lands two left hooks to his opponents ribs.

Swapp pivots from in front of his opponent.  Lannon tries to land a jab, but Swapp blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to his opponents ribs.  
Swapp pivots to the side of his opponent.  Lannon hits home with a left hook.  
Lannon tries to land a cross, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Swapp is on target with a right hook to Lannon's body.

Lannon steps inside.  As Lannon tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Swapp.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Lannon gets on the inside and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.

Swapp tries to step out of his opponents range and throws an uppercut to the body, but lands well below the belt!  The ref stops the action.  The ref sends Lannon to the neutral corner.  He warns Swapp that continued fouling will result in a point deduction.

Swapp tries to land a jab, but Lannon dodges the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 9, lets listen in on the corners...Swapp's trainer is telling his fighter he is a mile in front and not to do anything stupid.
