Manchu Pei vs Dai Suko

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Tokyo Big Sight, Tokyo,  taking place on 15/10/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Manchu Pei (2 - 0) who hails from Shenyang, China and Dai Suko(7 - 1 - 6) from Saitama, Japan.  Pei weighed in at 153 pounds and 12 ounces, while Suko weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Keiichi Iida, and the three ringside judges are Hideki Ishibashi, Fumio Nakazawa and Yasushi Uchida.  

Round 1: 

Suko gets on the inside.  Suko sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Pei connects with a right hook.  
Pei steps away from his opponent and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.  
Suko lands a left hook.  Suko attempts to land a jab, but Pei parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Pei hits home with a cross.  
Suko closes the distance and manouvers Pei into the corner.  Pei lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Pei holds on to his opponent.  Pei is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.

Suko advances into close range.  Pei quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Pei tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double jab to his opponents head.

Suko is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Pei connects with a left uppercut.

Suko walks Pei down, trapping him in a corner.  Pei lands a right uppercut followed by a jab to his opponents head.

Pei lands an overhand right to the head followed by a cross to the body.
