Afanas Damdin vs Jiro Maruyama

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Ninja Gym, Tokyo,  taking place on 10/10/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Afanas Damdin (2 - 0) who hails from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and Jiro Maruyama(2 - 8) from Osaka, Japan.  Both Damdin and Maruyama weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Isamu Nonaka, and the three ringside judges are Kazuhiko Furukawa, Kei Mayeda and Ryo Nagasawa.  

Round 1: 

Damdin lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands an overhand right followed by a cross to his opponents head.
