Rodrigo Manas vs Federico Cassillas

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Paraguay-Asuncion promoted show at Asuncion Lucas, Asuncion,  taking place on 28/09/2027:

Clearly AI Paraguay-Asuncion have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Paraguay Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Rodrigo Manas (16(1) - 5) who hails from Asuncion, Paraguay and Federico Cassillas(13 - 5 - 5) from Asuncion, Paraguay.  Both Manas and Cassillas weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Montel Macias, and the three ringside judges are Agapetus Rodriguez, Diego Baez and Rio Olavarria.  

Round 1: 

Cassillas is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Cassillas circles his opponent with a low guard, waiting for his opponent to attack.  Manas connects with an overhand left.  
Manas gets on the inside and lands a left hook followed by  two right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Manas is on target with a left hook to Cassillas's body.  
Cassillas throws a right hook, but Manas holds on to his opponent.  Manas is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee warns Manas and breaks the clinch.  
Manas lands a jab.  
Manas steps inside.  Cassillas is on target with a left hook.  
Cassillas is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Manas lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Manas gets on the inside and is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Manas drives a left uppercut into Cassillas's body.  
Manas gets on the inside and lands a left hook.  
Cassillas voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Manas tries to tag Cassillas on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  Manas lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents body.

Cassillas now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.

Manas uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Cassillas behind the head. The ref breaks Manas's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Manas advances into close range and is on target with a right hook to Cassillas's ribs.  
Manas is on target with a solid right hook.  Manas ties up his opponent.  Manas leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The referee breaks the clinch and warns Manas to stop holding.

Manas sidesteps to the left of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Manas advances into close range and digs in a left hook to Cassillas's liver.
