Diego Merlo vs Santiago Jiminez

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Puerto Rico-Bayamon promoted show at Montego Valdespino Gym, Bayamon,  taking place on 28/09/2027:

Clearly AI Puerto Rico-Bayamon have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Puerto Rico-Bayamon Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Diego Merlo (10 - 9 - 3) who hails from Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Santiago Jiminez(13 - 9(1)) from Bayamon, Puerto Rico.  Both Merlo and Jiminez weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Guido Bonilla, and the three ringside judges are Macario Armenta, Loredo Olavarria and Xeres Trigueros.
