Zacarias Grimaldo vs Angel Mellado

Boxing Daily Report from the Yeray Heras promoted show at Ovidio Carcamo Gym, San Nicolas de los Garza,  taking place on 28/10/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Mexico Light Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TVC Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Zacarias Grimaldo (20 - 0) who hails from Monterrey, Mexico and Angel Mellado(13 - 3(1) - 1) from Reynosa, Mexico.  Both Grimaldo and Mellado weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Neper Carabello, and the three ringside judges are Joaquin Andino, Baltasar Salome and Carlos Rochel.
