Desiderio Mieras vs Orlando Machado

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Pichincha promoted show at Quito Madero, Quito,  taking place on 28/10/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Pichincha Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Desiderio Mieras (5 - 7 - 6) who hails from Quito, Ecuador and Orlando Machado(5 - 6 - 2) from Quito, Ecuador.  Both Mieras and Machado weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Enzo Roque, and the three ringside judges are Luis Mazariegos, Rogelio Remigio and Ovidio Vallez.  

Round 1: 

Mieras is on target with a cross.

Machado is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Machado lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Mieras attempts to land a cross, but Machado sidesteps and counters with a cross.
