Ibrahim Wahab vs Amer Rauf

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Sarawak promoted show at Kuching Sayed, Kuching,  taking place on 28/10/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Malaysia-Sarawak Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Ibrahim Wahab (8 - 0) who hails from Kuching, Malaysia and Amer Rauf(8 - 6 - 4) from Kuching, Malaysia.  Wahab weighed in at 121 pounds and 13 ounces, while Rauf weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Haaris Mahfouz, and the three ringside judges are Ali Mannan, Asif Khalili and Ali Mannan.

Wahab advances into close range.  Rauf quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Rauf throws a left uppercut, but Wahab clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Wahab pushes his forearm into Rauf's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Wahab to stop fouling.

Wahab gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left hook to the head.

Frustration is starting to boil over for Rauf now.    He throws a hook, and catches Wahab low!  The ref stops the action and tells Rauf to keep his punches above the belt.  He gives Wahab time to recover.

Rauf is clearly losing his cool here!   He steps in close and swings a low uppercut into Wahab's groin!  The ref halts the action and sends Wahab to the neutral corner.    He tells Rauf to clean up his game.  The ref's patience seems to be wearing thin.
