Rico Cabansag vs Louis Bantay

Boxing Daily Report from the Lexington Promotions 3.0 promoted show at Dario Gaffud Gym, Manila,  taking place on 27/10/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a final eliminator for the Philippines-NCR Super Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rico Cabansag (12 - 7 - 3) who hails from Quezon City, Philippines and Louis Bantay(11 - 9 - 1) from Manila, Philippines.  Both Cabansag and Bantay weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Floyd Gregorio, and the three ringside judges are Morgan Palangdao, Marco Gumila and Bryn Sugcang.  

Round 1: 

Cabansag cuts off the ring, trapping Bantay on the ropes.  Cabansag is on target with a left hook.

Round 3: 

Cabansag attempts to land a right uppercut, but Bantay sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
As Cabansag tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Bantay dabs at his face checking for damage.    It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Bantay.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.  
Cabansag walks Bantay into a neutral corner.  Cabansag tries to land a cross, but Bantay blocks the shot and counters with a right uppercut.  
Cabansag is looking to close the distance.  Bantay lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Cabansag gets on the inside.  Bantay lands a left hook.  
Bantay quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.
