Neper Coca vs Jose Batres

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Times-Union Center, Jacksonville,  taking place on 10/12/2027:

Clearly Hands Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Neper Coca (8 - 0) who hails from Bayamon, Puerto Rico and Jose Batres(17 - 8 - 2) from Havana, Cuba.  Coca weighed in at 139 pounds and 14 ounces, while Batres weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fraser Vail, and the three ringside judges are Vince Wood, Xaverius Guerra and Fanuco Onate.  

Round 1: 

Coca is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents head.

Batres switches the action to the outside.  Coca connects with an overhand right.  
Coca is on target with a solid left hook.  
Coca manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Coca pivots from in front of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Coca advances into close range.  Coca lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a left hook to the head.  As Batres tries to work on the inside, the fighters heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Coca.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Coca throws a jab, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.
