Chris Buchannon vs Oscar Wightman

Boxing Daily Report from the Arrow Fighting Group promoted show at Denver Bird, Denver,  taking place on 23/10/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Fight Now TV, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Chris Buchannon (10 - 4(1) - 1) who hails from Pueblo, USA and Oscar Wightman(17 - 3(1)) from Wichita, USA.  Both Buchannon and Wightman weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fraser Pringle, and the three ringside judges are Wayne Bardsley, Kyle Melrose and Bryan Oman.  

Round 1: 

Buchannon pivots to the side of his opponent.  Buchannon attempts to land a jab, but Wightman sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.  
Wightman closes the distance.  Wightman pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the body, a right uppercut to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Buchannon switches the action to the outside and finds the target with a jab.
