Peter Steel vs Matt Montgomery

Boxing Daily Report from the Hard hitting promotions promoted show at Hard Gym, Tallahassee,  taking place on 24/10/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Peter Steel (0 - 0) who hails from Orlando, USA and Matt Montgomery(0 - 5) from San Diego, USA.  Steel weighed in at 126 pounds, while Montgomery weighed in at 125 pounds and 13 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Elliot Balderas, and the three ringside judges are Fraser Vail, Oleos Infante and Hugh Guffy.  

Round 1: 

Steel gets on the inside.  Steel pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Steel pivots to the left of his opponent.  Steel attempts to land a right hook, but Montgomery slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Steel sidesteps to the right of his opponent and is on target with a left hook.

Steel closes the distance and walks Montgomery down, trapping him in a neutral corner.  Steel lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents head.  
Steel pivots to the side of his opponent.  Steel attempts to land a left hook, but Montgomery blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Steel lands a solid jab.  
Steel pivots to the left of his opponent and connects with a right hook.  
Montgomery advances into close range.  Steel sidesteps to the right of his opponent and connects with a left hook.  
Steel lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Montgomery steps inside.  Steel connects with a left hook.

Steel voluntarily retreats back onto the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Montgomery tries to tag Steel on the ropes, but his opponent blocks every shot!  
Steel lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Steel steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Steel is on target with a right hook to his opponents ribcage.
