Oro Barrio vs Venacio Felipe

Boxing Daily Report from the RingSlide España promoted show at Cubierta de Leganés, Madrid,  taking place on 01/01/2028:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  On the line tonight is the Spain Light Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on Canal + Deportes, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Oro Barrio (18(11) - 0) who hails from Barcelona, Spain and Venacio Felipe(7 - 9(1) - 4) from Malaga, Spain.  Both Barrio and Felipe weighed in at 175 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Inga, and the three ringside judges are Vegas Hidalgo, Ulises De la Fuente and Sagaz Archibeque.  

Round 1: 

Felipe closes the distance.  Barrio lands a left hook to the body, a right hook to the head and a left hook to the head.  Barrio attempts to land a right hook, but Felipe slips the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Felipe throws a jab, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a HUGE right uppercut.  IT LOOKS LIKE FELIPE WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  Felipe recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Barrio pivots from in front of his opponent and finds the target with a hard jab.  
Felipe cuts off the ring, trapping Barrio on the ropes.  Felipe pivots to the right of his opponent.  Barrio hits home with a right hook.  
Barrio drives a solid left hook into his opponents liver.  
Barrio tries to step out of his opponents range.  Barrio feints a right hook, and then finds the target with a hard jab.  
Felipe lands a right hook.  
Barrio steps to the outside and lands a straight 1 - 2.

Barrio lands with a spiteful jab.  
Barrio switches the action to the outside and hits home with a sharp overhand right.  
Barrio snaps his opponents head back with a stinging jab.  
Felipe gets on the inside.  Barrio lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Felipe manouvers Barrio onto the ropes.  Barrio lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Barrio steps away from his opponent and lands a sharp jab.  
Barrio lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Barrio lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Felipe advances into close range.  Barrio lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Barrio is looking to keep his distance and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Felipe advances into close range.  Barrio sidesteps to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Felipe is looking to close the distance.  Barrio hits home with a right hook.  
Felipe finds the target with a jab.  
Felipe gets on the inside.  Barrio hits home with a sharp left hook.  
Barrio switches the action to the outside and lands two jabs to the body, and one to the head.

Felipe forces Barrio to back into the ropes.  Felipe lowers his guard, attempting to draw a lead.  Barrio DETONATES a CRUSHING left uppercut on his opponents face.  FELIPE IS DOWN!  HE TRIES TO RISE BUT HIS LEGS DONT RESPOND...THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Barrio!
