Igor Skalecki vs Vikenti Karklinsh

Boxing Daily Report from the Dan Archet Stable promoted show at Dan Gym, Lodz,  taking place on 17/10/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 4 round matchup are Igor Skalecki (4 - 0) who hails from Warsaw, Poland and Vikenti Karklinsh(0 - 1) from Riga, Latvia.  Skalecki weighed in at 125 pounds and 12 ounces, while Karklinsh weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Bohater Bruski, and the three ringside judges are Zygfryd Walas, Piotr Gmerek and Jeronim Wasco.  

Round 1: 

Skalecki is looking to close the distance and lands a left uppercut followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Skalecki attempts to land a jab, but Karklinsh parries the shot and counters with a right hook.

Skalecki lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Karklinsh steps to the outside.  Skalecki lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Skalecki closes the distance.  Skalecki leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Karklinsh steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.
