Henry Kaburu vs Shayan Taheri

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Kenya-Nakuru promoted show at Mykelti Rubia Gym, Nakuru,  taking place on 05/10/2027:

Clearly AI Kenya-Nakuru have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Kenya-Nakuru Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Henry Kaburu (3 - 4 - 1) who hails from Nakuru, Kenya and Shayan Taheri(3 - 0 - 1) from Nakuru, Kenya.  Both Kaburu and Taheri weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Malcolm Atwoli, and the three ringside judges are Jack Chepchumba, David Beauttah and Malcolm Atwoli.  

Round 1: 

Taheri is looking to close the distance.  Kaburu pivots from in front of his opponent.  Taheri lands a right hook.  
Kaburu steps away from his opponent and attempts to land a cross, but Taheri sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.

Taheri sidesteps to the right of his opponent and digs in a left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Taheri advances into close range and connects with a right uppercut.

Kaburu wants to work on the inside, but accidentally clashes heads with his opponent!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Taheri dabs at his face checking for damage.  Taheri has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.
