Boxing Daily Report from the Bones Promotions promoted show at Syed Yousuf Gym, San Francisco,  taking place on 02/11/2027:

Clearly Bones Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Justin Liston (9(7) - 0) who hails from North Shore, New Zealand and Bryn Downey(1 - 3 - 2) from Tacoma, USA.  Both Liston and Downey weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Sam Hasson, and the three ringside judges are Peter Ronald, John Rhydderch and Mark Kinnock.  

Round 1: 

Liston lands three consecutive jabs to his opponents head.

Downey steps inside and walks Liston down, trapping him in a corner.  Liston is on target with a sharp right uppercut.

Liston steps to the outside and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He continues the combination and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Liston gets on the inside.  Liston pivots from in front of his opponent.  Downey tries to land a right hook, but Liston blocks the shot and counters with a solid right hook.  
Liston steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Downey is looking to close the distance.  Liston lands three consecutive left hooks to his opponents head.  Liston clinches his opponent.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Liston is on target with a solid left uppercut.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Downey's trainer is telling his fighter he is being outworked and needs to throw more.  Downey's trainer is advising how he could stop so many clean shots getting through.

Liston is on target with a firm cross.  
Liston lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, KNOCKING DOWNEY DOWN!  He manages to get up at 6.  Downey almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Liston is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands a stinging jab.  
Liston is looking to keep his distance and is on target with a FEROCIOUS cross.  DOWNEY WAS STUNNED BY THAT SHOT!  Downey almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Downey closes the distance.  Liston lands a right uppercut to the head, a left hook to the body and a left uppercut to the body.

Liston steps away from his opponent and drives a stinging jab into his opponents face.  Liston tries to land a jab, but Downey sidesteps and counters with a left uppercut.

Liston lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head, DROPPING DOWNEY TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 7.  Downey quickly recovers. 
Downey closes the distance.  Liston lands a left hook to the body, a right uppercut to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  Liston holds on to his opponent.  Liston leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.

Liston tries to keep the action at long range and connects with a WICKED cross.  DOWNEY HAS BEEN KNOCKED DOWN!  He is on his feet as the count reaches 4.  
Downey closes the distance and manouvers Liston into the red corner.  Liston lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Liston clinches his opponent.  Liston leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref separates the two fighters.
