Brett Haden vs William Paden

Boxing Daily Report from the Hands Promotions promoted show at Milford Ice Pavillion, Waterbury,  taking place on 18/12/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Brett Haden (7 - 0) who hails from Madison, USA and William Paden(6 - 15 - 1) from Aurora, USA.  Haden weighed in at 125 pounds and 13 ounces, while Paden weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Dominic Kerr, and the three ringside judges are John Hilton, Phil Stephen and Ethan Boliver.  

Round 1: 

Haden is looking to close the distance and drives a left hook into Paden's ribs.  
Haden manages to force Paden onto the ropes.  Haden drives a right hook into his opponents body.  
Haden gets on the inside and lands a left uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a right hook to the head.  
Haden throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Haden holds on to his opponent.  Haden tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Paden behind the head. Haden pushes his forearm into Paden's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Haden to stop fouling.  
Haden throws a right uppercut, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Haden closes the distance.  Paden throws a right hook, but Haden ties up his opponent.  Haden leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Haden's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Haden gets on the inside and lands a solid left hook.  
Haden lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
Haden walks Paden down, trapping him in the corner.  Haden hits home with a sharp right hook.  
Haden quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Paden throws a right hook, but Haden ties up his opponent.  Haden tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Paden behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Haden about fouling.

It looks like the clash of heads has caused some damage to Paden.  That has caused minor swelling  around the right eye.
