Dale Naismith vs Ian Gillison

Boxing Daily Report from the Arrow Fighting Group promoted show at Greeley Freebairn, Greeley,  taking place on 03/11/2027:

Clearly Arrow Fighting Group have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Mountain West Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dale Naismith (14 - 8(1) - 4) who hails from Fort Collins, USA and Ian Gillison(17 - 8 - 6) from Denver, USA.  Both Naismith and Gillison weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Mark Woodhouse, and the three ringside judges are Ian Sangster, Greg Howie and Brendan Noble.  

Round 1: 

Naismith steps to the outside and is on target with a cross.  
Gillison is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Gillison stalks forward with a low guard, trying to draw a lead from his opponent.  Naismith tries to land an overhand right, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a left hook.  
Gillison walks his opponent into the corner.  Gillison connects with a right hook.  
Naismith attempts to land a left hook, but Gillison slips the shot and counters with a cross.  
Gillison closes the distance and drives a left uppercut into Naismith's body.
