Wu-pen Canh vs Azam Harroun

Boxing Daily Report from the UAE Boxing promoted show at Abu Dhabi Nation Exibition Centre (Hall), Abu Dhabi,  taking place on 11/12/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Wu-pen Canh (18(12) - 1) who hails from Shah Alam, Malaysia and Azam Harroun(12 - 8 - 2) from Al Ain, UAE.  Canh weighed in at 111 pounds And 10 ounces, while Harroun weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rehman Salaam, and the three ringside judges are Haider Hawi, Majid Alshehhi and Aftab Yarad.  

Round 1: 

Canh closes the distance and lands a right hook, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  
Canh tries to land a left hook, but Harroun parries the shot and counters with a left uppercut.

Harroun tries to keep the action at long range.  Harroun lowers his hands, trying to provoke his opponent to attack.  Canh lands with a sharp jab.  Canh throws a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Canh lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head, KNOCKING HARROUN DOWN!  He manages to get up at 4.  
Harroun tries to step out of his opponents range.  Canh finds the target with a jab.  
Canh hits home with a solid cross.  
Canh gets on the inside and lands a right uppercut, left hook and a right hook to his opponents body.  Canh clinches his opponent.  Canh tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Harroun behind the head. Canh is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Canh's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Canh sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Canh lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  Canh throws a left hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Canh is looking to close the distance and throws a left uppercut, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Canh holds on to his opponent.  Canh pushes his forearm into Harroun's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Canh steps inside.  Harroun lands a left hook.  Canh holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Canh pushes his forearm into Harroun's face.  The ref breaks Canh's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Harroun steps away from his opponent.  Canh lands a double jab to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a jab followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Canh is on target with a cross.  
Canh is looking to close the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents head.  
Canh lands with a stinging jab.  
Harroun is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Canh lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Canh steps inside and digs in a right hook to Harroun's ribcage.

Harroun connects with a cross.  
Canh lands a firm cross.  
Canh steps inside and digs in a right uppercut to Harroun's body.  
Harroun throws a right hook, but Canh clinches his opponent.  Canh is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Canh gets on the inside and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  
Harroun attempts to land a jab, but Canh sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Canh tries to land a left uppercut, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a left hook.

Canh senses Harroun is in trouble...he is looking to finish him off!  Canh lands a nasty cross.  HARROUN IS DOWN!  HE IS STILL STRUGGLING TO HIS FEET AS THE COUNT REACHES 10!  The winner by KO is Canh!
