Kai Maddex vs Stuart Curran

Boxing Daily Report from the Kurusu Promotions promoted show at Devonshire House Hotel, Liverpool,  taking place on 27/10/2027:

Clearly Kurusu Promotions have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are The Throne-Breaker Kai Maddex (5 - 0) who hails from Leicester, UK and Stuart Curran(2 - 5(1) - 2) from Glasgow, UK.  Both Maddex and Curran weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Ewan Goodlet, and the three ringside judges are Mike Sconce, Rodric Valentine and Mike Burchardt.  

Round 1: 

Maddex steps inside and digs in a left hook to Curran's liver.
