Mikio Sakurai vs Eiji Kai

Boxing Daily Report from the Pearlnew Promotions promoted show at Sapporo Convention Center Main Hall, Sapporo,  taking place on 22/11/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Mikio Sakurai (22 - 0) who hails from Yokohama, Japan and Eiji Kai(9 - 11 - 3) from Osaka, Japan.  Sakurai weighed in at 121 pounds And 8 ounces, while Kai weighed in at 122 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kaede Takenaka, and the three ringside judges are Eiji Suzuki, Isamu Hara and Raiden Takamoto.  

Round 1: 

Sakurai feints a cross and triggers a right uppercut counter from Kai.  Sakurai springs the trap and counters with  a right hook.
