Keun-ho Kwak vs Hikaru Takeuchi

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Ota-City General Gymnasium, Tokyo,  taking place on 11/12/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Keun-ho Kwak (7(2) - 1) who hails from Cheonan, South Korea and Hikaru Takeuchi(5 - 7 - 3) from Osaka, Japan.  Both Kwak and Takeuchi weighed in at 108 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yutaka Hirayama, and the three ringside judges are Nori Tamanaha, Kyo Iwai and Kaede Toyama.  

Round 1: 

Kwak is looking to keep the action on the outside and finds the target with a spiteful jab.

Kwak switches the action to the outside.  Takeuchi attempts to land an overhand right, but Kwak sidesteps and counters with a stinging left hook.

He then lands three consecutive right hooks to his opponents ribs.  Kwak clinches his opponent.  Kwak is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref separates the two fighters.

Kwak switches the action to the outside.  Kwak feints a right hook, and then lands a straight 1 - 2.

Kwak steps to the outside.  Kwak feints a jab, and then strikes his opponents body with a cross.  
Kwak steps away from his opponent and lands two consecutive overhand rights to his opponents head.

Takeuchi quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent.  Kwak lands a solid cross to his opponents body.  
Takeuchi is looking to close the distance and forces Kwak to back into the ropes.  Kwak throws a left hook, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Kwak clinches his opponent.  Kwak tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Takeuchi's kidney. The ref separates the two fighters.
