Juan Borbon vs Roger Bruce

Boxing Daily Report from the Montreal's Top Gym promoted show at Polideportivo Espana, Managua,  taking place on 03/12/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Juan Borbon (13(11) - 0) who hails from Manta, Ecuador and Roger Bruce(13 - 10(2) - 5) from Jacksonville, USA.  Both Borbon and Bruce weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Roman Rodriguez, and the three ringside judges are Carlos Delgado, Francisco Osegueda and Montana Devera.  

Round 1: 

Bruce sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Borbon is on target with a firm cross.  
Borbon hits home with a right hook.  Borbon holds on to his opponent.  Borbon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Bruce pivots from in front of his opponent.  Borbon lands a cross.  
Borbon advances into close range and connects with a stinging left hook.  Borbon clinches his opponent.  Borbon is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Borbon lands a right hook to the head, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  Borbon clinches his opponent.  As they grapple, Borbon pushes his forearm into Bruce's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Borbon about fouling.

Borbon is looking to close the distance and connects with a solid left hook.  Borbon clinches his opponent.  Borbon tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Bruce behind the head. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Bruce attempts to land a jab, but Borbon dodges the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Borbon gets on the inside and is on target with a sharp left uppercut to Bruce's ribs.  
Bruce is looking to keep the action on the outside.  Bruce waits at the mid-range with a lowered guard, waiting for his opponent to throw a punch.  Borbon finds the target with a jab.

Borbon lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  
Borbon lands a right uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.
