Noe Sierra vs Santiago Jaramillo

Boxing Daily Report from the Millonarios promoted show at Bingo Premier, Caracas,  taking place on 31/10/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Noe Sierra (2(1) - 2) who hails from Barcelona, Venezuela and Santiago Jaramillo(3 - 5 - 2) from Santa Teresa del Tuy, Venezuela.  Sierra weighed in at 115 pounds, while Jaramillo weighed in at 114 pounds and 15 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Venacio Hermida, and the three ringside judges are Saturnin Rodriguez, Vicente Avellaneda and Ovidio Matas.  

Round 1: 

Sierra closes the distance.  Jaramillo throws a right hook, but Sierra clinches his opponent.  Sierra pushes his forearm into Jaramillo's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Sierra to stop fouling.  
Jaramillo tries to land a left hook, but Sierra sidesteps and counters with a solid left uppercut.  
Sierra throws a left hook, but his opponent steps away from the punch.  Sierra ties up his opponent.  Sierra is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref calls break and the two fighters separate.  
Sierra forces Jaramillo to retreat into a corner.  Sierra sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the body, a right hook to the head and a left uppercut to the head.  
Sierra sidesteps to the left of his opponent and drives a right uppercut into Jaramillo's body.  
Sierra closes the distance and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.

That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
