Vicente Capote vs Rio Gonzalez

Boxing Daily Report from the Millonarios promoted show at Bingo Premier, Caracas,  taking place on 31/10/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Vicente Capote (4(2) - 0) who hails from Caracas, Venezuela and Rio Gonzalez(10 - 5 - 1) from Maracaibo, Venezuela.  Both Capote and Gonzalez weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Avellaneda, and the three ringside judges are Venacio Hermida, Saturnin Rodriguez and Ovidio Matas.  

Round 1: 

Capote throws a left uppercut, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Capote holds on to his opponent.  As they grapple, Capote pushes his forearm into Gonzalez's face.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Capote about fouling.

Capote steps inside and lands a left hook.  Capote clinches his opponent.  Capote throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Capote lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Gonzalez almost instantly recovers. 
Capote is looking to close the distance and lands a right uppercut followed by  two left hooks to his opponents body.  
Capote gets on the inside.  Capote pivots to the left of his opponent and drives a left uppercut into Gonzalez's body.

Capote drives a solid left hook into his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 2, lets listen in on the corners...Gonzalez's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.  Gonzalez's trainer is telling his fighter he needs to be more active or he's going to get outworked.
