Manuel Canseco vs Jerrold Melgoza

Boxing Daily Report from the Sumito Urayama's KO Kings promoted show at Parque Luis Méndez Piana, Montevideo,  taking place on 01/12/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Uruguay-Montevideo Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Manuel Canseco (10(3) - 0) who hails from Montevideo, Uruguay and Jerrold Melgoza(12 - 3) from Montevideo, Uruguay.  Both Canseco and Melgoza weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Reyes Olmedo, and the three ringside judges are Rodrigo Bacallao, Loredo Tio and Vicente Mino.
