Noel Virtue vs Mike Beese

Boxing Daily Report from the Jali Promotions promoted show at Music City Boxing Gym, Nashville,  taking place on 02/12/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the USA-Alabama Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Noel Virtue (7 - 10 - 3) who hails from Huntsville, USA and Mike Beese(7 - 12(3) - 3) from Birmingham, USA.  Both Virtue and Beese weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Elliot Blaney, and the three ringside judges are Zachary Caffrey, Elliot Brayer and Gus Teague.  

Round 1: 

Beese steps away from his opponent.  Virtue feints a jab, fooling Beese into throwing a cross counter.  Virtue avoids the shot and counters with a left hook.

Beese advances into close range.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Beese has been damaged by the clash of heads.  That has caused swelling  around the left eye.
