Majid Safi vs Ewan Xing

Boxing Daily Report from the Rooq Promotions promoted show at Shah Alam Convention Centre, Shah Alam,  taking place on 27/12/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the South Asian Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Majid Safi (17(11) - 0) who hails from Shah Alam, Malaysia and Ewan Xing(19(1) - 3) from Johor Bahru, Malaysia.  Safi weighed in at 159 pounds and 11 ounces, while Xing weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Adnan Satter, and the three ringside judges are Saad Mahdi, Asif Hashim and Shayan Zadeh.
