Fo-hai Tow vs Yoshi Nakai

Boxing Daily Report from the Ninja Warriors promoted show at Ninja Gym, Tokyo,  taking place on 05/11/2027:

The venue is completely packed out with the fans turning out in force to watch the fights on offer tonight.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 8 round matchup are Fo-hai Tow (2 - 0) who hails from Hefei, China and Yoshi Nakai(7 - 2 - 1) from Chiba, Japan.  Tow weighed in at 118 pounds, while Nakai weighed in at 117 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Hisao Yamane, and the three ringside judges are Eiji Mizuno, Kazuhiko Ide and Takeo Kibe.  

Round 1: 

Nakai lands a jab.  
Nakai tries to keep the action at long range.  Nakai sidesteps to the left of his opponent.  Tow hits home with a cross.  
Tow is looking to close the distance and is on target with a right uppercut to Nakai's ribcage.  Tow holds on to his opponent.  Tow leans on his opponent using all his weight. Tow is using his forearm in the clinch.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Tow to stop fouling.  
Tow lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Nakai tries to keep the action at long range.  Tow lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  He then lands a straight 1 - 2.  
Tow pivots to the left of his opponent.  Nakai tries to land a jab, but his opponent sidesteps and counters with a solid right hook.  
Nakai feints a jab, and then is on target with a cross.  
Nakai switches the action to the outside.  Tow lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Tow advances into close range and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Tow steps inside and throws a right uppercut, but the shot lands on his opponents guard.  Tow ties up his opponent.  Tow is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Tow lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Tow clinches his opponent.  Tow throws a hook within the clinch but hits his opponent behind the head. The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Tow about fouling.  
Tow manouvers his opponent into a neutral corner.  Tow is on target with a solid right hook.  
Tow gets on the inside and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Tow clinches his opponent.  Tow tries to make the space to throw a hook, but hits Nakai behind the head. The referee warns Tow and breaks the clinch.  
Tow connects with a right hook.  
Tow lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  
Tow walks his opponent down, trapping him on the ropes.  Tow digs in a left hook to his opponents body.  
Tow connects with a left hook.  
Tow lands a right hook to the head followed by a right uppercut to the body.  He then lands a right hook to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Tow ties up his opponent.  Tow leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Tow senses his opponent is hurt.  He is looking to stop Nakai and just needs the right shot.  Tow is on target with a forceful left hook to his opponents liver.  DOWN GOES NAKAI!  He manages to get up at 4.  Nakai now seems to have recovered from the bodyshot.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Nakai's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.  Nakai's trainer is telling his fighter to tighten his defence.

Tow lands a left uppercut followed by a left hook to his opponents body.  He then lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.
