Kenji Oh vs Jun Konya

Boxing Daily Report from the Sumito Urayama's KO Kings promoted show at Daichi Arita Gym, Hachioji,  taking place on 07/11/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 6 round matchup are Kenji Oh (1 - 0) who hails from Shizuoka, Japan and Jun Konya(3 - 6 - 2) from Kobe, Japan.  Both Oh and Konya weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Kenji Sasaki, and the three ringside judges are Aki Fujii, Michi Uyehara and Jiro Fukumoto.  

Round 1: 

Oh is looking to close the distance.  Oh pivots to the side of his opponent.  Oh lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  Oh attempts to land a right hook, but Konya blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to Oh's ribs.

Konya switches the action to the outside.  Oh attempts to land an overhand left, but Konya sidesteps and counters with a cross.  
Oh is looking to close the distance and drives a stinging left uppercut into Konya's ribs.  Oh clinches his opponent.  Oh leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. Oh hits his opponent with a kidney shot within the clinch. The referee separates the two fighters and warns Oh.
