Boxing Daily Report from the Gold Coast Promotions promoted show at Sunshine Coast Stadium, Sunshine Coast,  taking place on 18/12/2027:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Commonwealth Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on SBS1, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Elderson Mbanefo (24(11) - 4(1)) who hails from Buguma, Nigeria and Bryan “The Destroyer” MacQueen(22(1) - 0) from Newcastle, UK.  Both Mbanefo and MacQueen weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oliver Mullane, and the three ringside judges are Ian Rabb, Corey Pait and Joel Glines.
