Davie Barmore vs Josh Hyslop

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Florida promoted show at Theo Bain Gym, Jacksonville,  taking place on 02/11/2027:

Clearly AI USA-Florida have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Florida Super Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Davie Barmore (7 - 15(1) - 8) who hails from St. Petersburg, USA and Josh Hyslop(11 - 7 - 2) from Miami, USA.  Both Barmore and Hyslop weighed in at 140 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Oliver Mirando, and the three ringside judges are Mark Pettry, Pedro Buendia and Inigo Poyner.  

Round 1: 

Barmore advances into close range.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Barmore dabs at his face checking for damage.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Barmore.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Barmore is looking to close the distance.  Hyslop throws a right hook, but his opponent parries the shot and counters with a left hook.  
Hyslop gets on the inside and connects with a left uppercut.  
Hyslop sidesteps to the right of his opponent.  Barmore lands a jab.
