Azam Majid vs Jack Cay

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Texas promoted show at Dallas Ritchie, Dallas,  taking place on 02/11/2027:

Clearly AI USA-Texas have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-Texas Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Azam Majid (9 - 14 - 6) who hails from Austin, USA and Jack Cay(9 - 13 - 3) from Dallas, USA.  Both Majid and Cay weighed in at 160 pounds.  
The referee tonight is James Curto, and the three ringside judges are Elliot Morgans, Mike Ruane and Darryl Corral.

Cay leans back on the ropes...he waves his opponent in!  Majid accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Cay.  Majid lands a cross.  
Cay closes the distance.  Majid pivots from in front of his opponent.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.    That accidental headbutt has resulted in some damage to Majid.  That has caused minor swelling  around the left eye.
