Dave Hovey vs Michael McPhie

Boxing Daily Report from the AI USA-Virginia promoted show at Chesapeake Gajani, Chesapeake,  taking place on 02/12/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the USA-South Atlantic Super Bantamweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Dave Hovey (15 - 1) who hails from Charlotte, USA and Michael McPhie(14 - 4(2)) from Chesapeake, USA.  Hovey weighed in at 122 pounds, while McPhie weighed in at 121 pounds and 5 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Jasper MacFarland, and the three ringside judges are Zachary Davis, Jamie McClennen and Waleed Mady.
