Chan-dong Song vs Gus Clough

Boxing Daily Report from the TFI promoted show at Shreyas Gym, Boston,  taking place on 10/12/2027:

Clearly TFI have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Chan-dong Song (6(1) - 0) who hails from Gunsan, South Korea and Gus Clough(5 - 16 - 2) from Memphis, USA.  Song weighed in at 117 pounds and 15 ounces, while Clough weighed in at 118 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Charles Keath, and the three ringside judges are Hugh Hier, Mike Stobie and Dominic Lowder.  

Round 1: 

Song closes the distance and digs in a firm left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Clough steps back and leans on the ropes with his guard up.  Song accepts the invitation, throwing powerful combos, but is unable to land anything on Clough.  
Song is looking to close the distance.  Clough lands a right hook.  
Song is on target with a left hook to his opponents ribs.  
Song sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a sharp right uppercut to Clough's ribcage.  
Song steps inside and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  He continues the combination and lands a right hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Song is on target with a solid right hook to his opponents body.  Song ties up his opponent.  Song pushes his forearm into Clough's face.  The referee breaks the clinch and warns Song to stop fouling.  
Song connects with a left uppercut.  Song ties up his opponent.  Song leans on his opponent trying to wear him down. The ref breaks Song's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Clough throws a left hook, but Song holds on to his opponent.  Song is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. Clough pushes his forearm into Song's face.  The ref separates the two fighters.  
Song digs in a left hook to his opponents liver.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Clough's trainer is suggesting ways of getting through to his opponent.
