Haaris Jan vs Rashid Ashraf

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Malaysia-Federal Territory promoted show at KLCC Banquet Hall, Kuala Lumpur,  taking place on 07/12/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Malaysia-Federal Territory Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance and those watching live on TV3, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Haaris Jan (13 - 4 - 1) who hails from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Rashid Ashraf(16 - 3 - 2) from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  Jan weighed in at 146 pounds and 14 ounces, while Ashraf weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Rehman Saadeh, and the three ringside judges are Rehan Azam, Amjad Hamdan and Tariq Ahmed.
