Rodrigo Mezo vs Santiago Julio

Boxing Daily Report from the AI Ecuador-Manabi promoted show at Manta Trinidad, Manta,  taking place on 08/12/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the Ecuador-Manabi Flyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Rodrigo Mezo (9 - 2 - 1) who hails from Portoviejo, Ecuador and Santiago Julio(19 - 5 - 4) from Portoviejo, Ecuador.  Both Mezo and Julio weighed in at 112 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Vicente Robaina, and the three ringside judges are Xaverius Malo, Alejandro Cruz and Santiago Truan.
