Boxing Daily Report from the North Star Boxing promoted show at Yost Theater, Santa Ana,  taking place on 05/01/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a mandatory fight for the USA-California Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Alen Pierce (19(11) - 0) who hails from Long Beach, USA and Neil Cowen(14 - 7(1)) from Long Beach, USA.  Pierce weighed in at 147 pounds, while Cowen weighed in at 146 pounds and 7 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Kieran Farm, and the three ringside judges are Daniel Weir, John Benitez and Cris Villagomez.
