Fritzie Gierhart vs Eward Streif

Boxing Daily Report from the JH Promotions promoted show at Soemmeringhalle, Berlin,  taking place on 01/01/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Fritzie Gierhart (9(4) - 0) who hails from Dusseldorf, Germany and Eward Streif(2 - 4(1) - 2) from Frankfurt, Germany.  Gierhart weighed in at 140 pounds, while Streif weighed in at 139 pounds and 12 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Volker Gegenheimer, and the three ringside judges are Kolby Becker, Neffe Justus and Arnold Pfab.  

Round 1: 

Streif backs onto the ropes...he is waving his opponent in!  Gierhart steps in throwing power shots but is unable to land cleanly.  Gierhart is on target with a sharp cross.

Streif tries to land a left hook, but his opponent blocks the shot and counters with a right hook to Streif's ribcage.  
Gierhart sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a double left hook to his opponents head.  
Gierhart is looking to close the distance.  Streif throws a left hook, but Gierhart clinches his opponent.  Gierhart pushes his forearm into Streif's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Gierhart.

Gierhart pivots to the right of his opponent.  Gierhart lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  Gierhart holds on to his opponent.  Gierhart is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks Gierhart's hold and signals for the fight to continue.

Streif steps to the outside.  Gierhart lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND STUNS HIS OPPONENT!  Streif almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Gierhart is looking to close the distance and lands two consecutive right uppercuts to his opponents head.  
Gierhart slams a hurtful right hook into Streif's body.  STREIF IS HURT!  
It looks like Streif has now recovered from that earlier bodyshot.

Gierhart stalks his opponent...he just needs the right shot to put his opponent away!  Gierhart connects with a BRUTAL left uppercut.  STREIF IS SENT SPRAWLING TO THE CANVAS!  He beats the count, getting up at 8.  
Streif now seems to have his senses back.

Gierhart gets on the inside.  Gierhart pivots to the side of his opponent and lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.
