Jonathan Owen vs Gareth McCard

Boxing Daily Report from the AI UK-Northern England promoted show at Bolton School Arts & Conference Centre, Bolton,  taking place on 14/11/2027:

Clearly AI UK-Northern England have made a mistake booking this venue with less than half the tickets sold, including those handed out as prizes by Boxing Daily.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Northern England Super Middleweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Jonathan Owen (4(2) - 0) who hails from Newcastle, UK and Gareth McCard(2 - 3 - 3) from Bury, UK.  Owen weighed in at 167 pounds and 14 ounces, while McCard weighed in at 168 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Stuart Apted, and the three ringside judges are Stephen Kennedy, Nathan Magee and Daniel McPhillips.
