Eiji Shibata vs Daiki Muranaka

Boxing Daily Report from the Ekstein Promotions promoted show at ACROS Event Hall, Fukuoka,  taking place on 24/12/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  On the line tonight is the Japan-Tokyo Lightweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Eiji Shibata (15 - 6(1) - 3) who hails from Tokyo, Japan and Daiki Muranaka(12 - 4 - 2) from Tokyo, Japan.  Both Shibata and Muranaka weighed in at 135 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Yasushi Kudo, and the three ringside judges are Michi Kawata, Kyo Kuramoto and Yasushi Nakayama.  

Round 1: 

Shibata is on target with a cross to his opponents body.  
Muranaka walks his opponent down, trapping him in the red corner.  Shibata tries to land a jab, but Muranaka parries the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
