Sean Connelly vs Matt McKenzie

Boxing Daily Report from the Logan Cop promoted show at Harry Sharefa Gym, Coventry,  taking place on 15/12/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the British-Central England Welterweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Sean Connelly (2 - 5) who hails from Telford, UK and Matt McKenzie(14 - 9(2) - 4) from Wolverhampton, UK.  Both Connelly and McKenzie weighed in at 147 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Irfan Assaf, and the three ringside judges are Roger Tinkler, Ewan Sprout and Hugh Hyland.  

Round 1: 

Connelly pivots to the right of his opponent.  Connelly tries to land a right hook, but McKenzie dodges the shot and counters with a right uppercut.
