Bamey Blankenbeckler vs Eldwin Meinhardt

Boxing Daily Report from the JH Promotions promoted show at Soemmeringhalle, Berlin,  taking place on 01/01/2028:

There are a few empty seats out here tonight, but this is a respectable turnout for the show.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 12 round matchup are Bamey Blankenbeckler (12(3) - 0) who hails from Essen, Germany and Eldwin Meinhardt(4 - 4 - 4) from Dusseldorf, Germany.  Both Blankenbeckler and Meinhardt weighed in at 130 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Volker Gegenheimer, and the three ringside judges are Kolby Becker, Arnold Pfab and Neffe Justus.  

Round 1: 

Blankenbeckler lands a hard jab.  
Blankenbeckler feints a left, and then finds the target with a spiteful jab.  
Blankenbeckler is on target with a stiff jab.  
Blankenbeckler feints a cross, fooling Meinhardt into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Blankenbeckler is waiting for the shot and counters with a right hook.  
Meinhardt closes the distance and throws a left hook, but Blankenbeckler ties up his opponent.  Meinhardt is leaning on his opponent in the clinch. The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Meinhardt manages to force Blankenbeckler onto the ropes.  Blankenbeckler lands a right hook followed by a left hook to his opponents head, AND HIS OPPONENT IS HURT!  Meinhardt recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Blankenbeckler switches the action to the outside and is on target with an overhand right.  
Meinhardt is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but Blankenbeckler holds on to his opponent.  Blankenbeckler is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref breaks Blankenbeckler's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Blankenbeckler tries to keep the action at long range and snaps his opponents head back with a hard jab.  
Blankenbeckler hits home with a spiteful jab.  
Blankenbeckler feints a cross, and then connects with a stinging overhand right.  
Blankenbeckler lands a solid jab.  
Blankenbeckler sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a jab.  
Meinhardt steps inside.  Blankenbeckler quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a left uppercut to the head followed by a left hook to the body.  
Blankenbeckler connects with a stinging overhand right.  
Blankenbeckler lands a cross followed by a overhand left to his opponents head.  
Blankenbeckler steps away from his opponent and lands a double jab to his opponents head.  
Blankenbeckler hits home with a sharp cross.  
Meinhardt cuts off the ring, trapping Blankenbeckler on the ropes.  Meinhardt lands a cross.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Meinhardt's trainer is telling his fighter to increase his workrate.

Meinhardt steps inside.  Blankenbeckler lands a right hook.  
Meinhardt steps inside and forces Blankenbeckler to retreat onto the ropes.  Blankenbeckler lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Blankenbeckler is on target with a solid cross.  
Blankenbeckler is looking to keep the action on the outside and lands three consecutive straights to his opponents head.  
Blankenbeckler lands a ramrod jab.  
Blankenbeckler is on target with a jab.  
Meinhardt steps inside.  Blankenbeckler is on target with a left hook.  
Blankenbeckler tries to keep the action at long range and lands a cross to the head, a jab to the body and a jab to the head.  
Blankenbeckler connects with a nasty cross.  MEINHARDT IS HURT!  Meinhardt quickly recovers. 
Meinhardt steps inside.  Blankenbeckler is on target with a spiteful right hook.  IT LOOKS LIKE MEINHARDT WAS HURT BY THAT SHOT!  
Meinhardt walks Blankenbeckler down, trapping him on the ropes.  Meinhardt throws a right hook, but Blankenbeckler holds on to his opponent.  Blankenbeckler is using his forearm in the clinch.  The ref halts the action and breaks the clinch.  He lectures Blankenbeckler about fouling.  Meinhardt now seems to have his senses back.  
Blankenbeckler pivots from in front of his opponent and lands two consecutive straights to his opponents head, AND MEINHARDT IS DOWN!  He tries to rise on shaky legs but Meinhardt cant beat the count!  The winner by KO is Blankenbeckler!
