Vladan Klinger vs Karim Gaibov

Boxing Daily Report from the UAE Boxing promoted show at Inshaatchy Stadium, Sumqayit,  taking place on 24/12/2027:

The venue is mostly sold out with the fans eager to turn out for tonights fights.  
Next up we have one of the supporting contests of this show.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Vladan Klinger (18(12) - 0) who hails from Brno, Czech Republic and Karim Gaibov(8 - 6(1) - 1) from Baku, Azerbaijan.  Both Klinger and Gaibov weighed in at 154 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Samad Farra, and the three ringside judges are Nasimi Bacho, Bashir Amirbeyov and Huseinqulu Ismailov.  

Round 1: 

Klinger is looking to close the distance and throws a left hook, but is unable to get through his opponents guard.  Klinger clinches his opponent.  Klinger pushes his forearm into Gaibov's face.  The referee separates the two fighters and warns Klinger.  
Klinger forces Gaibov to back into the corner.  Gaibov throws a right hook, but Klinger holds on to his opponent.  The ref breaks the clinch and signals for the action to continue.  
Klinger lands a right hook to the head followed by two left hook's to the body.  
Klinger digs in a solid left uppercut to his opponents ribs.  
Klinger lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a left hook to the body, and then to the head.  
Klinger pivots to the right of his opponent and lands a left hook followed by a right uppercut to his opponents head.  He follows up the attack and lands a left hook to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  
Klinger is looking to close the distance and walks his opponent down, trapping him in the corner.  Gaibov throws a left uppercut, but Klinger clinches his opponent.  Klinger uses his free hand to throw a hook, but it hits Gaibov behind the head. The ref separates the two fighters.  
Klinger digs in a firm right hook to his opponents body.  
Klinger steps inside and lands a right hook followed by a left uppercut to his opponents body.  
Klinger lands a jab to the body followed by a cross to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Gaibov almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Gaibov steps away from his opponent.  Klinger lands a cross followed by a overhand right to his opponents head.  
Klinger lands a jab to the body, and then to the head.  
Klinger advances into close range and drives a left hook into his opponents body.  
Klinger is on target with a right hook to his opponents body.  
Klinger manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Klinger lands a left uppercut to the body followed by a right hook to the head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Gaibov recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Klinger steps away from his opponent and connects with a sharp overhand right.  
Klinger steps inside and lands a left hook to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Klinger lands a left hook followed by  two right hooks to his opponents body.  Klinger ties up his opponent.  Klinger leans on his opponent using all his weight. The ref breaks Klinger's hold and signals for the fight to continue.  
Klinger advances into close range and is on target with a firm right hook to Gaibov's body.  
Klinger lands two left hooks to the body, and one to the head.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref does not appear to have noticed the clash as Gaibov dabs at his face checking for damage.  Gaibov has taken some damage from that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the right eye.  
Klinger lands a right uppercut to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  
Klinger lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He then lands a right uppercut to the head followed by a right hook to the body.  
Klinger quickly sidesteps from in front of his opponent and lands a ramrod jab.  
Klinger closes the distance and lands a left hook followed by a right hook to his opponents body.  
At the end of Round 1, lets listen in on the corners...Gaibov's trainer is passing on some tactical advice.

Gaibov switches the action to the outside.  Klinger lands two straights followed by a jab to his opponents head.  HE HAS HIS OPPONENT IN TROUBLE!  Gaibov recovers before his opponent can take advantage. 
Klinger is looking to close the distance and lands two right hooks to his opponents ribs.  He then lands a left hook to the head, a right hook to the body and a left hook to the head.  THAT HURT HIS OPPONENT!  Gaibov quickly recovers. 
Klinger walks his opponent into the corner.  Klinger is on target with a right hook to Gaibov's body.  
Klinger lands a left hook, right hook and a right uppercut to his opponents body.  
Klinger lands a double left hook to his opponents head, AND KNOCKS GAIBOV DOWN!  He beats the count, getting up at 4.  Gaibov almost instantly gets his legs back. 
Gaibov switches the action to the outside.  Klinger sidesteps to the left of his opponent and is on target with a firm overhand left.  
Gaibov is looking to keep his distance.  Klinger connects with a stinging cross.  
Klinger gets on the inside.  Klinger pivots from in front of his opponent and digs in a right hook to his opponents ribcage.  
Klinger sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a left hook to the body, a left hook to the head and a right hook to the body.  
Klinger manouvers his opponent into the corner.  Klinger is on target with a right hook.  
Klinger digs in a stinging right hook to Gaibov's body.  
Klinger lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  He follows up the attack and lands a right hook to the body, and then to the head.  Klinger tries to land a left hook, but Gaibov blocks the shot and counters with a left uppercut.  
Klinger steps inside and hits home with a left uppercut.  
Klinger tries to step out of his opponents range and lands a cross followed by a jab to his opponents head.  
Klinger is on target with a hurtful cross.  GAIBOV IS DOWN!  THE COUNT REACHES 10, BUT GAIBOV IS UNABLE TO GET UP!  The winner by KO is Klinger!
