Charles Connolly vs Matthew Duane

Boxing Daily Report from the All Talk Promotions promoted show at Dublin Collins, Dublin,  taking place on 16/12/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Celtic Featherweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Charles Connolly (20 - 6(2)) who hails from Swords, Ireland and Matthew Duane(9 - 14(1) - 2) from Dun Laoghaire, Ireland.  Both Connolly and Duane weighed in at 126 pounds.  
The referee tonight is Fionn Donnell, and the three ringside judges are Jason Farrell, Charlie Brisbane and Carl Lyons.  

Round 1: 

Connolly lands a cross followed by a right hook to his opponents head.

Connolly gets on the inside.  As the two fighters work on the inside, their heads come together!  The ref acknowledges the accidental headclash but allows the action to continue.  Duane has been damaged by that accidental headbutt.  That has caused slight swelling  around the left eye.  
Connolly steps inside.  Connolly pivots from in front of his opponent and connects with a right uppercut.  
Frustration is reaching boiling point for Duane now.    He throws a hook, and catches Connolly low!  The ref signals for the action to continue.  He either hasnt noticed the blatant foul or doesnt care! 
Connolly pivots to the left of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.  
Connolly feints a jab, fooling Duane into throwing a left uppercut counter.  Connolly is waiting for the shot and counters with a left uppercut to Duane's body.  
Connolly steps inside and lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the body.  
Connolly advances into close range.  Connolly sidesteps to the left of his opponent and lands a right hook to the head, a right uppercut to the body and a right hook to the head.
