Olindo Heras vs Ryo Melchior

Boxing Daily Report from the Yalley Promotions promoted show at Guayaquil Real, Guayaquil,  taking place on 18/12/2027:

There are plenty of empty seats out here tonight, with the show nowhere near close to selling out.  
Next up is the main event of the show.  This is a semi final eliminator for the Ecuador-Guayas Heavyweight title.  

Looking to impress the boxing fans in attendance, the two fighters competing in this 10 round matchup are Olindo Heras (5 - 1 - 2) who hails from Guayaquil, Ecuador and Ryo Melchior(12 - 9 - 5) from Guayaquil, Ecuador.  Heras weighed in at 245 pounds and 4 ounces, while Melchior weighed in at 244 pounds and 4 ounces.  
The referee tonight is Joaquin Juliana, and the three ringside judges are Santiago Ferro, Pedro Siman and Vicente Tamez.  

Round 1: 

Melchior manouvers his opponent onto the ropes.  Heras connects with a right uppercut.  
Heras attempts to land an uppercut to the solar plexus, but he strays low!  The ref stops the action and gives Melchior time to recover.  
Melchior closes the distance and throws a left hook, but his opponent slips the shot and counters with a right uppercut.

Melchior advances into close range.  Melchior sidesteps to the left of his opponent and hits home with a left hook.
